- Rough-dry hair to about 80% dry.
- Section the hair and clip away what you're not working on.
- Wrap a section around the barrel and follow with the dryer nozzle from root to tip.
- Hold tension at the ends for 5-10 seconds to set the shape.
- Repeat section by section.
